Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect when you visit qabilto.com or join our early-access list, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The Qabilto app has its own privacy policy, which you’ll see when you create an account.
What we collect
When you join the early-access list, we collect:
- What you give us: your name and email address, plus anything optional you choose to add: who you’re looking for a match for, your country, phone number, preferred device and how you heard about us.
- How you found us: the campaign link you arrived from (UTM parameters), the website that referred you, the page you landed on, your browser language and the time you signed up.
- Your consent: a record that you agreed to be contacted, and which version of this policy you agreed to.
We don’t ask for sensitive details such as your faith or marital status on this website. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics may also collect anonymised usage data such as pages viewed and device type.
How we use it
- To tell you when Qabilto launches on your platform, and to send occasional launch news.
- To understand which channels and campaigns bring people to Qabilto, so we can plan our launch.
- To keep the list free of spam and duplicate sign-ups.
We never sell your information, and we don’t share it with other organisations for their own marketing.
Where it’s stored
Sign-ups are stored in Google Cloud Firestore (part of Google Firebase). Access is restricted to the Qabilto team; the website itself can add a sign-up but cannot read one back. We use Firebase App Check and Google reCAPTCHA to block automated abuse; reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
How long we keep it
We keep early-access sign-ups until Qabilto has launched on your chosen platform and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in each email. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Just email support@qabilto.com from the address you signed up with. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
The website doesn’t use cookies for the sign-up form. It stores a small note in your browser for the length of your visit to remember which campaign you came from. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets its own cookies.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date above. Significant changes will be emailed to people on the list.
